Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Vending Machine Technician to install, service and repair automated vending equipment under the Business Enterprise Program. Training licensed managers in operation and maintenance is part of the role.

Level I focuses on training and basic repairs, while Level II covers leadership, logistics, and higher level diagnostics. Candidates with relevant experience and NAMA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in vending machine or small appliance maintenance or repair.
• One year of experience plus certification as Vending Technician at all three levels of NAMA Vending Technician.
• Associate Degree and/or Vocational Technical certification in Electrical Construction and Maintenance, Refrigeration, Small Appliance Repair, Vending Machine Repair.
• Electrical certification from an accredited vocational/technical school or community college.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up and remove automated vending/merchandising equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and refurbish vending/merchandising equipment.
• Repair or replace parts; maintain inventory and prepare maintenance reports.
• Provide in-service and on-the-job training to Licensed Managers and staff.
• Travel throughout Oklahoma as required.
