Job summary

The World of Coca-Cola is seeking a Vending Technician to support beverage operations in a high-traffic guest area. You will maintain and repair vending machines, fountain equipment, and Freestyle machines, perform PMs, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities include inventory control, sanitation, safety compliance, and executing preventive maintenance while providing guest-friendly service in a busy environment at Coca-Cola's iconic attraction in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License and successfully pass the following requirements: MVR and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively, with reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts hours both day and evenings, 7 days per week, and alternate holidays.
• Basic operating of a computer to include: basic excel knowledge, sending emails, typing word documents.
• Able to work in hot and cold temperatures.
• 5 years- experience or more maintaining vending machines, fountain equipment, Freestyle machines and general warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work including outside vendors, contractors, or suppliers.
• Familiarity with basic warehousing operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vending, fountain, and Freestyle equipment; identify solutions and implement fixes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Inspect equipment and ensure it is clean and sanitary per policy.
• Order and install equipment as part of maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs beyond in-house capability.
• Maintain inventory areas and perform weekly counts.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper operation of motorized equipment.
• Complete PM logs and incident reports.

Job Description Summary: The World of Coca-Cola is the only place where you can experience the fascinating story of the world's best-known beverage brand in a dynamic, multimedia attraction. Our Facilities team is currently looking for a Vending Technician to support the beverage operations at the World of Coca-Cola. This role will cover all areas noted along with any maintenance and repair of vending machines, soda fountains, and Freestyle machines and will be responsible for all PMs and repairs for this equipment. This is a highly visible role and work is often performed in high-traffic guest areas; therefore, the ability to perform tasks and provide basic guest interaction will be expected. Successful candidates will be a role model for others and will work productively with little supervision.

Maintenance and Repair

• Analyze and troubleshoot all problems with equipment, identify solutions, recommend, and implement methods, procedures, and/or techniques for resolution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and operating systems.
• Maintain and inspect equipment and ensure it is in satisfactory condition (e.g., clean and sanitize tanks and pipe routing, change water filters, hook up and load/unload materials, clean work areas) according to company policies and procedures.
• Order and install equipment as part of regular maintenance and repair.
• Consult and outsource, if needed, repair work to the appropriate vendor(s) to resolve issues outside of expertise.
• Performs additional duties within scope of the role as assigned by management.

Inventory Control

• Maintain bag in box (BIB) room/Pavilion/Base Camp/Taste It/Loading dock organization.
• Check product levels in vending machines and replenish accordingly.
• Check product dates and rotation using first in first out (FIFO) process.
• Receive and store in-coming inventory according to expectations and procedure.
• Perform weekly inventory counts; report shortages and out-of-stocks according to expectations and procedure.
• Ensure supplier/delivery paperwork is accurate and properly filed.
• Research and resolve order discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Performs additional duties within scope of the role as assigned by management.

Safety

• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures to include: safety rules and regulations, recognizing hazards and taking reasonable and appropriate action to report and or resolve.
• Ability to utilize motorized equipment and vehicles in a safe and cautious manner to perform tasks successfully.
• Remain current on certifications and trainings required to be compliant in role.
• Completion of all PM logs and incident reports.

Pay Range: United States: 32,546 - 36,701 USD Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
