Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Technician to install, educate, and repair vending equipment at client locations within a designated area. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, test equipment, and build strong relationships with clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
• Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment.
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment.
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.
