Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Service Technician to join our team in the Lima area. You will install new equipment at client locations, educate customers on operation, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to vending and merchandising equipment.

You will build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, order necessary parts, and contribute to excellent service delivery. We offer extensive training, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Experience in repair of automated vending/merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication with team members and customers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL not required.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment.
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
• Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment.
• Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
• Remove outdated and unused equipment.
• Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment.
• Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Order parts needed to complete repairs.
