Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Title Clerk to process and file title paperwork, establish vehicle ownership, and support the title team. This full-time, hourly role requires accuracy, strong organization, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include checking-in Certificates of Origin, recording stock numbers, processing plates and registrations for company vehicles in Colorado, and assisting with title research and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to process plates and registration for company vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Ability to work within a dealership environment and core hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Process titles and paperwork to establish ownership of vehicles being purchased or sold.
• Check-in new vehicle Certificates of Origin (Titles), record stock numbers and file appropriately.
• May provide processing and accounting entries for vehicle acquisition into dealer inventory.
• Research titles not received from customers and lienholders, document all research.
• Answer inquiries regarding Title status by phone or email.
• Assist with researching title issues and follow up on outstanding titles.
