Job summary

Adams County is seeking a Title and Registration Technician I to process title applications and issue motor vehicle registrations for the public in person, over the phone, and by email.

You will handle taxes and fees calculations, perform data entry, and help customers with questions while following state and county policies. Overtime, evenings, and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of Customer Service experience is required.
• Knowledge of tax/fees calculations preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work with public in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Process title applications and issue motor vehicle registrations per statute, rules, and policies.
• Explain taxes/fees and assist customers with questions.
• Adhere to State/County policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Perform VIN inspections in designated areas.
• Work at Adams County Clerk and Recorder locations as needed.
• Occasionally assist Elections and Recording departments.
