Bertrandt US INC is seeking a Seasonal Test Driver to operate on a 2nd shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The role involves driving test schedules for new vehicles, preparing daily reports, and assisting with vehicle preparation and related clerical tasks.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, four years of licensed driving experience, and a clean driving record. Knowledge of vehicle systems and transmission types is desirable, with a focus on safety and documentation.

The Seasonal Test Driver, under the direction of Lead Driver/Facility Coordinator performs various driving test on new vehicle not out in the public market.

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

Pay Rate: $19.35/Hourly

Job Duties:

• Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures.
• Prepare accurate Drivers Reports on a daily basis.
• Perform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required. Such work includes vehicle shuttling, detailing, etc.
• Assists with clerical work or other jobs as required by Supervision.
• Follow policies and procedures of both Bertrandt Engineering.
• Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Four (4) years licensed driving experience.
• Driving record must be clear.
• Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures.
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission proficiently, knowledge of manual transmission is a plus.
• Must have test-driving experience.
