Job summary

BERTRANDT US INC in Oxnard, California, seeks a Test Driver to support ADAS and Autonomous Driving programs. You will perform driving tests on new vehicles, prepare daily driver reports, and shuttle vehicles as needed. This is a first-shift, on-site role.

The role rewards careful, safety‑minded drivers who can document work clearly, follow Bertrandt policies, and mentor teammates when required. A valid driver’s license and four years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Four (4) years licensed driving experience.
• Driving record must be clear.
• Knowledge of vehicle components, systems, and operating procedures.
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission proficiently; knowledge of manual transmission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures.
• Prepare accurate Drivers Reports on a daily basis.
• Perform other related driving / vehicle preparation work as required (vehicle shuttling, detailing).
• Assists with clerical work or other jobs as required by Supervision.
• Follow policies and procedures of Bertrandt Engineering.
• Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so.

The Test Driver, under the direction of Lead Driver/Facility Coordinator performs various driving test on new vehicle not out in the public market.

Hours: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.00/hourly
