Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to our safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a modern, climate-controlled facility designed for efficiency, using advanced tools and ongoing training to grow your craft.

You will gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles, contribute to customer satisfaction, and follow CarMax EH&S requirements while maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• State/local ASE certifications where required (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2).
