Job summary

Halfords Garage Services is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre, offering MOT tests to DVSA standards and comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair work. You’ll work in a modern facility, delivering high-quality service and customer experience.

We expect Level 3 qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a valid MOT licence, and a full driving licence with few points.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driving licence with fewer than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
