Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a well-established employer. You will service and repair a fleet of cars and vans from a modern workshop, with a focus on diagnostics and high quality work.

The role offers a salary of £37,000–£38,000, two-week rotating shifts, training and progression opportunities, plus overtime and weekends off. Commutable to Accrington / Huncoat in Lancashire, the company supports development including HGV maintenance qualifications.

Ideally Located: Accrington, Burnley, Huncoat, Blackburn, Clitheroe, Bury, Heywood, Darwen, Nelson, Preston Haslingden

Are you a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with light commercial vehicle experience and are looking to join a well-established company offering long-term stability, training and progression?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a varied role, maintaining and repairing an in-house fleet of company cars and commercial vans from a modern workshop.

The company are an industry-leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for staff retention, training and employee development, including support towards HGV maintenance qualifications.

In this role, you will service, diagnose and repair Mercedes Vito and Sprinter vans, diesel pool cars and hybrid/PHEV vehicles. You will also support inspections, fleet compliance, record keeping and safe, efficient workshop operations.

This role would suit a qualified or time-served Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills looking for a long-term, workshop-based role in Huncoat with further technical development opportunities.

The Role:

• Servicing and repairs on cars and commercial vans


• Fault diagnosis, inspections and fleet compliance


• Diesel and hybrid/PHEV vehicle maintenance

• Rotating two-week shift pattern


• Week 1: 6am-2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am-12pm Friday


• Week 2: 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2pm Friday

The Person:

• Vehicle Technician / Mechanic experience


• NVQ, City & Guilds or time-served experience


• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills


• Commutable to Accrington
