Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is hiring dedicated Vehicle Technicians at Warminster to maintain and service stored fleet platforms. You will perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to ensure readiness and compliance within a skilled team.

The role offers a 6-month contract with potential extension, BPSS sponsorship, and a generous travel and living package. You’ll work Mon-Thu with early finish on Fridays and enjoy on-site tooling and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics capability and experience with fleet assets.
• Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet background preferred).
• BPSS clearance eligibility and sponsorship by E-ppl.

Responsibilities

• Inspect & service: diagnostic inspections, servicing and repairs across fleet platforms.
• Rectification & prep: complete follow-on maintenance before inspections.
• Fleet upgrades & reworks: upgrade vehicles to operational standards and fix defects.
• Safety & compliance: adhere to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

E-ppl Ltd is hiring dedicated Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance project at our Warminster site. Working within a skilled, supportive team, you will ensure the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Servicing: Execute diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Rectification & Prep: Complete follow-on maintenance to ensure full safety and compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Fleet Upgrades & Reworks: Upgrade vehicles to operational standards and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

Location & Commute

Conveniently located in Warminster, Wiltshire, with strong transport connections via the A36 and A350. Ideal for lodge-based contractors or commutable candidates from Bath, Salisbury, Trowbridge, Frome, Westbury, and the wider Wiltshire/Somerset region.

• Qualifications: Level 3 IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet background strongly preferred).
• Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
• Security Clearance: Eligible for BPSS clearance (sponsored and managed entirely by E-ppl).
• Equipment: Standard coveralls and safety footwear (all mechanical tools provided).
• Exceptional Travel & Stay Package: Fully paid hotel (Sunday night through Friday checkout) and mileage expenses provided (subject to candidate location).
• Generous Daily Allowance: £25.00/day living allowance plus up to 250 miles/week reimbursed at 45p/mile where eligible.
