Job summary

Magna Steyr is seeking a talented Vehicle Integration Project Engineer to join our Complete Vehicle development team. You will support design, development, validation, integration and launch of vehicle systems in collaboration with OEMs, Magna engineering, manufacturing and suppliers.

Key focus areas include managing engineering requirements, DFMEA/DVP&R, validation planning, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring cost, timing and quality targets are met through the product development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
5+ years of automotive engineering experience.
Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R and GD&T.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.

Responsibilities

Drive the design, development, integration and validation of vehicle systems and components.
Coordinate engineering requirements, specs, performance targets and deliverables.
Lead validation plans, including virtual and physical testing activities.
Collaborate with OEMs, Magna teams, suppliers and manufacturing to meet targets.
Support issue resolution during launches and ramp-up.
