Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Vehicle Systems Engineer – Feature Owner to define and govern the functional intent of vehicle features across the development cycle. You will collaborate with Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Architecture, Design Engineering, and Validation to ensure robust requirements and traceability.

You will own feature behavior, assess impacts of changes, support requirements reviews, and drive alignment with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of system requirements, feature requirements, and traceability.
• Experience with DOORS and DOORS Next.
• Ability to translate customer needs into vehicle system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional definition and operating conditions of vehicle features.
• Assess impacts of new or modified features and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Systems Engineers to translate intent into system requirements.
• Provide clarification and interpretation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across disciplines to align on requirements.
