Job summary

Club Car seeks a Vehicle Engineer to contribute to the development of vehicles used worldwide. You will work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment to bring new and exciting products to market.

The role translates market requirements into system specifications, applies DFMEA/APQP, and uses PTC Creo to design components. Collaboration with manufacturing ensures manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or plastics engineering technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support the design process for vehicle related components and systems from concept to production.
• Transform market requirements into system, subsystem and component specifications.
• Perform project related assignments and work with all functions to ensure Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Ensure technical rigor (DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews).
• Utilize PTC Creo to design and develop mechanical components and subsystems to Club Car specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) and to incorporate designs into manufacturing processes.
