Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or plastics engineering technology or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience recommended.

  • Support the design process for vehicle related components and systems from concept to production.
  • Transform market requirements into system, subsystem and component specifications.
  • Perform project related assignments and work with all functions to ensure Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Ensure technical rigor (DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews).
  • Utilize PTC Creo to design and develop mechanical components and subsystems to Club Car specifications.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) and to incorporate designs into manufacturing processes.

ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES

Vehicle Engineer: Work on the development of vehicles used by customers around the world. The position requires a passion for vehicles and the desire to work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment to bring new and exciting products to market.

  • Support the design process for vehicle related components and systems from connect to production.
  • Transform market requirements into system, subsystem and component specifications.
  • Perform project related assignments and work directly with all functions of the organization to ensure project success with respect to Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Ensure technical rigors for all projects assigned (Specification, DFMEA, DVP, APQP, and Technical Design Reviews).
  • Utilize PTC Creo to design & develop mechanical components and subsystems to Club Car specifications.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) and to incorporate designs into manufacturing processes.
Education
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Plastics Engineering Technology, or equivalent is required.
Experience
  • 3+ years' experience is recommended.

Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
