Job summary

Monro is searching for a General Service Technician in Des Plaines. This position is either full-time or part-time and focuses on performing vehicle maintenance and repair reliably and effectively. Technicians are expected to provide 5 Star service through clear communication of vehicle issues while ensuring quality and time expectations are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle services and repairs according to Monro standards.
• Conduct tire services including removal and patch/plug repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle.
• Assist in inventory management and general store duties.
• Adhere to Monro’s safety standards and policies.
