Job summary

Hertz in Santa Ana, CA is looking for a Vehicle Service Attendant to help prep vehicles for rentals. You will work to achieve a fast-paced workflow, performing basic safety checks, and ensuring cars are rental-ready while upholding Hertz’s high standards.

You’ll work outdoors in all weather, move vehicles around the lot, and contribute to a team focused on customer satisfaction. The role includes overtime and holiday pay as part of the benefits package.

• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks, including inspecting dashboard warning lights, tire condition, and fuel and fluid levels to ensure vehicles are safe, rental-ready, and meet customer satisfaction.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Transport vehicles throughout lot.

This role focuses on efficient vehicle cleaning, basic vehicle readiness checks, and preparing cars for customer rentals. Requirements:

What You’ll Get:

• Hourly Rate is $16.00 + monthly incentives.
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
• Sick Pay: Granted Up to 48 hours
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
• Profit Sharing: Eligible
