Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Vehicle Service Attendant to help prepare vehicles for customer rentals. You will focus on thorough cleaning, basic readiness checks, and getting cars rental-ready while keeping a fast-paced workflow.

In this role, you’ll work outdoors in all weather and transport vehicles around the lot to support customer satisfaction. Hourly rate is $16.00 with monthly incentives; overtime and holiday pay are provided, along with sick pay, PTO and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 20 years old.

We are looking for Vehicle Service Attendants who take pride in their work and drive customer satisfaction. As a Vehicle Service Attendant, you will be helping prepare vehicles to be ready for customer rentals. This role focuses on efficient vehicle cleaning, basic vehicle readiness checks, and preparing cars for customer rentals. How to Drive your future in working with Hertz:

• Prepare vehicles to be ready for rent and customer pick up.
• Maintain a fast-paced workflow while delivering Hertz Gold Clean standards, with a target of 5 rental-ready vehicles per hour.
• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks, including inspecting dashboard warning lights, tire condition, and fuel and fluid levels to ensure vehicles are safe, rental-ready, and meet customer satisfaction.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Transport vehicles throughout lot.

Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be at least 20 years of age.

What You’ll Get:

• Hourly Rate is $16.00 + monthly incentives.
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
• Sick Pay: Granted Up to 48 hours
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)
• Profit Sharing: Eligible
