GSP Transportation in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Vehicle Service Agent to service and inspect rental vehicles, transport them to customers, and keep the service area clean. You will maintain gas logs and assist with general duties in a fast-paced rental environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and attention to detail.
• Able to work all required shifts and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use.
• Review inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are prepared.
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required.
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed.
• Maintain service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain gas and other logs as requested by management.
• Inspect and park cars as directed.
• Perform related duties as required or assigned.

Position Summary

The Vehicle Service Agent is responsible for servicing and inspecting rental vehicles for customer use, transporting vehicles from the service area to customer pick-up, maintaining gas logs, and keeping the work area clean.

Key Responsibilities

Management Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position reports to the Service Supervisor and Location Manager.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Extensive physical activity when cleaning and servicing vehicles
• Twisting, bending, walking, getting in and out of vehicles, driving, and inspecting vehicles
