GSP Transportation in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Vehicle Service Agent to service and inspect rental vehicles, move them between areas, and maintain logs. The role involves outdoor work and physically demanding tasks.

The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Service Supervisor and Location Manager. Required are a valid driver’s license, 18+ years, reliable transportation, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• Minimum age 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Able to work all required shifts.
• Willing to work outside in nearly all weather conditions.
• Able to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use.
• Review the inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared.
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required.
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed.
• Maintain the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management.
• Inspect and park cars as directed.
• Perform related duties as required or assigned.

Position Summary
