Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Montebello, CA is seeking a Vehicle Sales Management Trainee. This fast-paced program provides broad training across Rental, Finance, Operations, HR, and Sales & Marketing, with relocation within the territory after completion.

You will join a team that values integrity, culture, and family, and you will be mentored to grow your transportation and logistics career. The role offers an hourly wage of $28.00, paid weekly, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm,

Qualifications

H.S. diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Two (2) years or more 2-5 years experienced in customer service with issues resolution required.
Two (2) years or more Sales experience preferred.
Travel 0-10%.

Responsibilities

Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within a specific territory while using aggressive telephone marketing skills.
Maintain contacts with existing customers to improve retention, keeps current on market and customer trends.
Develop and implement strategies necessary to improve sales performance.
Responsible for operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management.
Support the Vehicle Sales Managers in achievement of all location sales quotas, goals and objectives.
Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
