The role partners with and leads cross-functional teams — Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service and Product Investigations — to determine product scope and the consequence of potential product issues during preliminary technical review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preliminary technical reviews of proactive sensing product alerts related to vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Work with and lead cross-functional teams to determine product scope and consequence of potential product issues.
  • Document all required technical review information and data with sufficient detail and clarity.
  • Recommend escalation or closure actions for all product alert items and provide supporting rationale.
  • Provide frequent technical review status reports to Product Investigators and management.
  • Provide recommendations to the Information Technology department regarding proactive sensing functional logic and continuous improvement of predictive analytic techniques and visualization.
Required Qualifications

Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; other engineering or related technical degrees with combined experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources — including field data, warranty data, service data and customer feedback — with a focus on predictive analytics.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, gaps and inconsistencies, and clearly summarize findings.
  • Working knowledge of reporting, data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, databases, dashboards), with the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
  • Experience supporting investigations, reporting or program execution through timely and accurate data preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support internal stakeholders, including investigators, program managers and leadership.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally, with management, engineering, and internal and external stakeholders.
