Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years experience in commercial vehicle painting and refinishing.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Proficiency with related hardware/software systems as needed to fully execute the duties.

Responsibilities

• Report to Body Shop Foreman or Body Shop Manager, and will be assigned duties on a daily basis.
• Maintain Proficiency of 80% or better, billing a minimum of 6.4 hours per day.
• Keep area safe and clean.
• Follow all safety measures for personal and environment safety.
• Wear PPE for each task and maintain safety equipment.
• Examine damaged vehicles and estimates of repair cost; report hidden damage to supervisor.
• Maintain spray booth and mixing equipment; keep the mixing room in good condition.
• Apply primers and sealers, sand and prep surfaces for finish paint applications.
