Job summary

CarMax in Lexington, KY is seeking a Reconditioning Associate to ensure vehicles meet quality and presentation standards. You will gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry and contribute to a best-in-class customer experience by preparing cars for showrooms and test drives.

You will log deliveries, stage vehicles, perform cleaning and detailing, and work with the team to uphold EH&S and CarMax standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Log and track vehicle deliveries and inventory.
• Move and stage vehicles for customer viewing.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment reflecting CarMax standards.
• Perform reconditioning tasks (cleaning, vacuuming, detailing) to meet quality.
• Collaborate with team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Learn best practices in automotive care and inventory management.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and keep work area clean.
