Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, seeks an Estimator II to produce timely, precise estimates for reconditioning on consigned vehicles for wholesale and retail clients. You’ll assess damage, document repairs, and seek client approval using Manheim’s proprietary tools for consistency and quality.

The role emphasizes accuracy, cross-team collaboration, and adherence to safety practices, with a competitive hourly pay range and opportunity for incentive programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related field experience; or higher education and 1 year of related experience; or 5 years in related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
• Vision abilities including close, distance and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Provides estimation services for an assigned auction area or areas.
• Provides accurate reconditioning estimates for body, detail and mechanic services.
• Communicates estimates to maintenance, reconditioning and other teams as required to initiate work.
• Works with procurement / purchasing staff to ensure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required by estimates.
• Monitors repair status, timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates.
• Keeps records of repair / reconditioning details and completes necessary paperwork.
