A staffing agency seeks a detail-oriented contractor to support emissions certification processes for a major automotive manufacturer in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities

• Answer daily PRMS tickets for Porsche Centers.
• Monitor and update workshop campaign changes.
• Manage OTA pilot testing and validations.
• Compile and submit certification test data to EPA.
• Represent Porsche at emissions-related meetings.
• Support certification processes through Vehicle Certification Team; liaise with PAG, PCNA, PCL, EPA, CARB, Transport Canada and Environment Canada.
• Compile, validate and submit certification test data to EPA and CARB databases.
• Obtain and evaluate testing data to calculate Fuel Economy (FE) Label Values.
• Prepare projections, sales and vehicle data for fleet compliance reporting; compile FE guides and Green Vehicle Guides.
• Represent Porsche at emissions-related government, industry and trade group meetings and workgroups.
• Assist in developing efficient certification plans for meeting new regulatory requirements with PCNA Regulatory and PAG teams.

Corestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. The candidate selected for this role will be an employee of Corestaff with a placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.

• Answer all daily Porsche Request Management System (PRMS) tickets- send tickets from Porsche Centers (PCs) to Porsche AG (PAG) and then back to the PCs when solved – approx. 1-2 hours per day.
• Monitor all minor changes to existing workshop campaigns – make VIN list and PPN updates as needed while following PAG campaign space – approx. 1 hour per day.
• Manage OTA pilot testing and validation – work with Quality Engineering (QE) and Sales Ops depts. to gather potential pilot vehicles for Over The Air (OTA) update testing and then test all upcoming OTA updates to validate robustness, as well as ensure backend documentation is working in order to provide support for issues – approx. .5 hours per day.
• Monitor campaign closures and work with QE to issue parts withdrawals and PPN updates for campaigns that are ending after 5 years – as needed, approx. 1-2 hours per month.
• Execute Owner’s Manual Supplement campaigns – work with QE to locally print supplements for OM campaigns (of which there are ~15 per year) and launch campaigns to PCs when ready – as needed, approx. 5 hours per month.
• Support the certification processes through execution of project plans as part of the Vehicle Certification Team; Serve as an active link between PAG, PCNA, PCL, EPA, CARB, Transport Canada and Environment Canada to assist in the issuance of Certificates (CoC) and Executive Orders (EO) within defined Certification Targets dates;
• Compile, validate and submit certification test data to EPA and CARB databases.
• Obtain and evaluate testing data to calculate Fuel Economy (FE) Label Values
• Acquire and prepare projections, sales and vehicle data for fleet compliance reporting to government agencies. Compile and verify information for FE guides, Green Vehicle Guides and Alternative Fuel Vehicle Reports
• Represent Porsche at various emissions-related Government, Industry and Trade Association meetings and workgroups
• Support analysis of new emissions regulations within scope of Certification, working directly with PCNA Regulatory and PAG Technical Conformance teams to develop the most efficient certification plans for meeting new regulatory requirements.
