Job summary

Glovis America, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager – Vehicle Processing Operations in Port Hueneme, CA.

You will lead daily processing activities, ensure targets are met, manage aging inventory, and coordinate across processing, accessory installation, body shop, mechanical, quality, and support functions. The role serves as the primary operational contact for the customer, maintaining strong communication, satisfaction, and alignment with changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Requires high-volume vehicle processing knowledge and strong production planning experience.
• Proficient in ERP/Transportation Management/vehicle-processing systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments and customer operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operation of general operations administration functions and personnel in the office.
• Handle data validation, entry, and reconciliation across databases; coordinate activities with operation using VELES, SAP, ACES, GPQMS, AMOS.
• Maintain production reports and monitor expenditures to stay within budget.
• Coordinate with security and stevedores for vessel discharge; ensure timely communication with customers.
