Job summary

Cox in Ohio is seeking a Vehicle Imaging Technician to capture exterior and interior vehicle photos using advanced imaging equipment. You will drive vehicles through a fixed imaging tunnel and shoot photos inside a Photo Booth, following standard operating procedures to ensure high-quality results.

You may re-image substandard pictures and assist with jump-starts, while actively promoting safety and health practices on the job. This is an outdoor role with varying weather conditions in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years' related experience typical.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to inspect vehicles from various positions and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel and have good vision.

Responsibilities

• Capture and upload exterior and interior vehicle images with Samsung S25 Ultra prior to and after detail cleans.
• Drive vehicles through Imaging Tunnel for exterior captures.
• Photograph vehicles inside Photo Booth following SOPs.
• Re-image any substandard photos to meet standards.
• Jump-start vehicles with provided equipment.
• Uphold safety and health procedures and support Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

• Capture and upload quality exterior and interior images of vehicles with Samsung S25 Ultra prior to and after detail cleans vehicles.
• Drive vehicles through our Fixed Imaging Tunnel to capture exterior images.
• Capture images of vehicles inside the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures.
• Re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Jump-start vehicles with provided equipment.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to inspect vehicles from various positions, including underneath and within confined spaces.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment:

• This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements of Ohio.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
