Job summary

Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment in the United States is seeking a skilled paint technician to prep, sand and paint trucks and vans within our manufacturing facility. You will prime, touch up and color-match using power spray equipment and brushes, while maintaining stringent quality standards and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and about 3 years of automotive paint experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years experience in painting automotive or heavy vehicle equipment is a plus.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capability to be detail oriented and organized.
• Capability to be self motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand and paint Dejana trucks and vans.
• Prime paint and touch up vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
• Mix all types of paints for proper color formula, conditions, viscosity and consistency.
• Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary in paint or other processes.
• Sand wash and condition parts as necessary.
• Light bodywork may be required.
• Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met.
