Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Willis, TX is seeking a full-time Paint/Prep Technician to prepare vehicle surfaces and equipment prior to painting. This role works Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include masking surfaces, filling and sanding imperfections, and pre-fitting bumper components and other holes. Ideal candidates are respectful, career-minded team players who take pride in quality work and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds.
• Previous experience prepping metal surfaces for painting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards.
• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed.
• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces.
• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks and other holes as necessary.
