Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in New Carlisle, OH is seeking a full-time Paint/Prep Technician to perform quality surface preparation on work truck bodies before painting. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:45 PM, with overtime as needed.

Prepare surfaces, fill and sand imperfections, mask surfaces, and assist with pre-fit tasks. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and reliable, with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience prepping metal surfaces for painting preferred.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint per established standards.
• Fill and sand body imperfections as needed.
• Mask and protect vehicle surfaces.
• Pre-fit and drill bumpers, ladder racks and other holes as necessary.
