As a Vehicle Operations Specialist (VOS), you will be a key contributor to our Delivery & Field Operations organization.

The VOS works with several cross-functional teams to facilitate vehicle logistics, manage documentation, and provide our customers with an exceptional experience. We seek someone who values operational excellence, continuous improvement, teamwork, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, including paperwork completion.
  • Ensure quality standards through vehicle washing, detailing, and correction activities.
  • Maintain vehicle delivery readiness.
  • Conduct quality control for delivery-ready vehicles and communicate defects to the service department.
  • Organize and maintain secure key management for vehicle inventory.
  • Maintain the inventory lot, ensuring safe and usable drive lanes at all times.
  • Shuttle vehicles to/from secondary locations, including customer and fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain adequate supplies inventory.
  • Prepare, inspect, and stage customer trade-ins for remarketing and transportation to auction.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly audits.
  • Collaborate with onsite and remote teams through proper communication.
  • Participate in workshops to improve quality and efficiency with guidance from leads/managers.
  • Proficient with computers and software, including Microsoft Office and internal platforms.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by leadership.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience in operations, logistics, or lot management; EV or detailing experience valued.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Flexible schedule supporting nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license in your state/province.
  • No recent drug/alcohol-related driving incidents; no serious violations in last 3 years; subject to MVR monitoring.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable.

Additional competencies include adaptability, multitasking, and autonomous work capability.

Physical requirements involve working in various conditions, physical exertion, and good English comprehension.


Pay and Benefits

Hourly rate in NYC: $29.21-$32.45, based on experience and location.

Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective from day one.
