Job summary

Cox Automotive in Colorado is seeking a Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I to support vehicle flow through our logistics network. The role runs Sun through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, with weekend shifts as needed and an hourly base pay range.

Responsibilities include entering vehicle data into the AS400 system, affixing labels, applying work order numbers, guiding transporters, and inspecting for damage. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Hourly base pay rate is $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Position Summary

Schedule for this position is: Sun-Thurs, 10am-6:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including: VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), Stock number, Dealer ID, Make, model, year, mileage, color, options
• Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival
• Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles
• Identify and flag "no key" vehicles
• Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones
• Inspect and report transport damage as required
• Provide proper sale identification windshield codes

Data Protection & Vehicle Preparation

• Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items
• Reset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security

Facility & Equipment Support

• Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance , including: Keeping the area clean and organized
• Reporting equipment issues or malfunctions
• Assisting with routine upkeep to ensure operational efficiency

Safety & Team Support

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines
• Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including: Driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Less than 2 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Basic computer skills

Schedule

Saturday-Wednesday 10:00 am- 6:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
