CAI Cox Automotive Corp Svcs., LLC is seeking a detail-oriented associate to enter vehicle data into the AS400 system and prepare units for auction at Cox locations in Colorado. The role requires basic computer skills and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

The schedule is Sunday to Wednesday and the position does not offer remote work. A pre-employment drug screen is required, and benefits include PTO and holidays as described.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including VIN, stock numbers, make, model, year, mileage, color, options; apply identifiers to vehicles.
• Inspect and report transport damage; provide sale identification windshield codes.
• Data protection and vehicle preparation: remove personal data and reset navigation data to protect customer privacy.
• Facility and equipment support: perform basic fit tunnel maintenance and report issues, assist with upkeep for efficiency.
• Safety & team support: follow safety procedures and assist with additional operational duties, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.

Job description

Hourly base pay rate is $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Schedule for this position is: Sun-Thurs, 10am-6:30pm.

Flexible Work Option: No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location.

Travel %.

No Work Shift Weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including: VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) Stock number Dealer ID Make, model, year, mileage, color, options Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrival Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles Identify and flag “no key” vehicles Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones Inspect and report transport damage as required Provide proper sale identification windshield codes
• Data Protection & Vehicle Preparation: Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable items Reset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.) Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security
• Facility & Equipment Support: Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance, including keeping the area clean and organized Reporting equipment issues or malfunctions Assisting with routine upkeep to ensure operational efficiency
• Safety & Team Support: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines Support Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activities Assist with additional operational duties as assigned, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Less than 2 years of related experience
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 10:00 am- 6:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. • Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
