Job summary

The compensation range for this position is $129,400 to $198,400, accompanied by various benefits including medical coverage, retirement plans, and employee discounts. Note that relocation costs are the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the vehicle modeling domain.
• Expertise in vehicle system modeling (powertrain, suspension, steering, chassis controls, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement simulation components that model vehicle ECUs, actuators, chassis, and tires.
• Collaborate with vehicle dynamics and actuation technical experts across GM.
• Design, run, and interpret vehicle model validation studies.

Skills

Vehicle system modeling and simulation

Programming skills in Python

Programming skills in C/C++

Matlab/Simulink experience

Data analysis

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related area
