Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose failures, perform repairs to meet manufacturer requirements, and carry out preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, requisitioning parts, and ensuring safety and environmental policies are followed in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years vehicle mechanic experience required or equivalent education/experience.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive failures and provide corrective action with long-term fixes.
• Perform repairs to meet manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance like lubrication, fluid changes, filters, and belts.
• Change or repair tires and related components on equipment.
• Document labor and parts on work orders and requisition needed parts.
• Modify vehicles as directed and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Follow EH&S policies and participate in safety initiatives.
