Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an equipment maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and restaurant equipment. Responsibilities include cleaning, equipment installation/removal, and routine service to ensure uninterrupted operations across food service and laundry areas.

The role requires 1+ year experience in HVAC or related fields, a valid Florida driver’s license, and a preference for technical schooling.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or related maintenance.
Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and fast-paced service environments preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment, including ovens, steamers, ice machines, coolers, and freezers.
Execute preventative maintenance on commercial appliances such as washers, dryers, chargrills, fryers, and flat tops.
Maintain self-contained refrigeration units and perform condenser/evaporator cleaning.
Complete all required documentation and labor reporting.
Assist Equipment Technicians on service calls.
Replace light parts such as hoses, regulators, pilot assemblies, belts.
Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in related activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
