Job summary

Daybreak Independent Services Inc. seeks a Transportation Aide to maintain and manage the agency’s vehicles. You will perform preventative maintenance, check vans for damages, arrange washings, and coordinate repairs under the Transportation Manager’s supervision.

The role requires at least two years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle maintenance. We value teamwork and reliability; the position offers benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience.
• Must have working knowledge in Vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to be a Team Player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all vehicles and equipment assigned to Daybreak Independent Services.
• Check vans for equipment and damages.
• Take vans to be washed and coordinate cleaning schedules.
• Take vans to the repair shop for all repairs and oil changes.
• Check key logs for missing sign-in/sign-out sheets.
• Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program per manufacturers' specifications.
• Keep maintenance and repair records and order repair parts.
• Provide coverage for van runs to transport the individuals.
• Perform related duties as required.
