Job summary

Cox Automotive, Fontana, CA, is looking for a Manager, Vehicle Maintenance to lead the day-to-day operations of the vehicle maintenance and repair shop. You will manage supervisors, technicians, and support staff, optimize workflows, ensure quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

The role requires a BA/BS and 6+ years in related automotive operations with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6+ years of related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.
• Good communication and interaction skills.
• Good management and organizational skills.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee vehicle maintenance and repair operations to meet factory standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supervisors, technicians, and staff; optimize workflow and staffing schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and develop technicians; ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
