Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Ohio is seeking a Launch Manager to deliver new model vehicle launches on time, cost, and quality. You will manage launch parts and processes, coordinate with cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, and Vehicle Operations, and drive changes through OTG, Change Control, and PAT meetings.

Qualified candidates hold an Engineering BS or equivalent, with 2–3 years automotive experience and strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

Engineering degree and automotive experience are required or equivalent.
2–3 years automotive experience required.
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage the launch parts and processes for new model launches.
Review BOMs for errors that could disrupt builds.
Lead OTG discussions with launch coordinators and PSG team.
Participate in Change Control, CLL, and PAT meetings.
Prepare the plant launch team; coordinate workstation needs and broadcast changes.
Attend pre-production builds and verify parts are ready for each program/build.
Work with Ford systems (CMMS, LQOS, OTG, QLS, WERS).
Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
