Job summary

CarMax Vancouver Auction Center is seeking an Auction Services Associate to maintain vehicle zones, receive inventory, and support sale operations. You will document inventory, photograph and locate vehicles, and assist with packing and moving units to ensure accurate records and a smooth auction process.

As part of the CarMax team, you’ll lift up to 50 lbs, work flexibly including nights and weekends, and follow EH&S guidelines in outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and enter data to maintain reliable inventory records.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong multitasking skills in a high-energy environment.
• Solid inventory management awareness and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to completing CarMax training and following procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, and operate outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory appearance and security.
• Document and track incoming/outgoing inventory.
• Receive, prepare, and process vehicles including locating and photographing.
• Support auction operations and coordination.
• Contribute to new associate training on best practices and safety.
• Complete daily inventory scanning and reconciliation.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean work area.
