Job summary

ISEE is seeking a detail-oriented vehicle integration engineer to embed the self-driving kit into a base vehicle platform and maintain integration documentation.

Responsibilities include acting as the first responder for vehicle issues, triaging root causes, and collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure reliability. A strong background in automotive bus systems, sensors, and Matlab/Simulink is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing automotive bus systems and disassembly/assembly of vehicle parts.
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive/robotics sector.
• Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electrical, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GPS, cameras, LiDAR and CAN automotive protocols.
• Passionate about self-driving vehicles and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Integrate ISEE's self-driving kit into a base vehicle platform and maintain integration design documentation.
• Be the “first responder” for vehicle issues and triage problems hands-on to determine root cause.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve integration challenges and ensure system reliability.
• Document integration processes and test results for repeatable deployment.

Role responsibilities include:

• Integrate ISEE's self-driving kit (consisting of sensors, actuators, ECUs, networking and communication devices, power delivery etc.) into a base vehicle platform
• Maintain integration design documentation
• Be the “first responder” for vehicle issues
• Triage vehicle issues hands-on, determine root cause and resolve

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts of the vehicle) and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas
• 5+ Years of Experience in the relevant industry
• Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electric, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience
• Experience with diverse automotive sensors incl. GPS, cameras, and LiDAR and automotive communication protocols such as CAN
• Passionate about self-driving vehicles and robotics
• Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer)
• Exposure to Matlab/Simulink tooling and Linux
• Worked with latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms incl. sensor calibrations
