Job summary

ISEE is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in software engineering, specifically in developing complex, performance-critical code-bases.

You will support the full software development life cycle for our Autonomous Vehicle software stack and build efficient, robust, and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++ and Python, and excellent debugging skills on Linux.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Interest and passion for developing novel, ground-breaking technology.
• Excellent debugging expertise on Linux to debug hard-to-reproduce whole-system problems.

Responsibilities

• Support full software development life cycle for Autonomous Vehicle software stack
• Build efficient, robust and secure infrastructure enabling responsive, transparent and collaborative product development and testing

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Interest and passion for developing and hardening novel, ground‑breaking technology
• Extensive experience with programming, system design and algorithm design
• Expert in C/C++ and/or Python
• Excellent debugging expertise on Linux to debug hard‑to‑reproduce whole‑system problems
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with hardware engineering teams to enable the use of new components/devices on the self‑driving vehicles

Preferred

• Experience with real‑time system development
• Experience with distributed systems design and architecture
• Experience with troubleshooting and tuning systemsRobotics experience is a plus
