Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer for Vehicle Integration & Data Acquisition in Auburn Hills, MI. The role focuses on test instrumentation, data acquisition, and vehicle testing across DoD programs.

You will manage instrumentation, develop acquisition strategies, and support field and lab testing, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring safety and quality in all procedures. The position offers competitive compensation with benefits and opportunities to work on

Qualifications

Requires US citizenship and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in test instrumentation and data acquisition, preferably for DoD ground vehicle programs.
Experience installing, configuring, and collecting data from test instrumentation and sensors.
Experience operating laboratory test environments, including calibration and instrumentation management.

Responsibilities

Specify, procure, calibrate, maintain, and retire test equipment and instrumentation.
Develop data acquisition strategies to support testing requirements.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot data loggers and sensors.
Support field and laboratory testing, including setup and data collection.
Analyze and document test data for engineering analysis and product development.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define data collection requirements.
Lead vehicle integration and validation testing activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation (plans, procedures, reports, logs).
Mentor junior engineers on instrumentation and data reduction best practices.
