Job summary

International Auto Processing LLC is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to perform comprehensive interior and exterior inspections, verify lights and accessories, and thoroughly document findings to manufacturer standards. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid US Driver’s License, and the ability to obtain a TWIC badge; experience with automatic and manual shift vehicles is preferred.

The shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to accurately document findings and communicate results clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive interior inspections for fit, finish, trim, electrical components, and accessory functionality.
• Conduct exterior inspections for body damage, paint defects, alignment issues, and overall condition.
• Verify proper installation and operation of lights, accessories, and visible mechanical components.
• Inspect exterior paintwork for defects, damage, or irregularities in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Accurately complete CAL check sheets, inspection reports, and required documentation in an efficient and thorough manner.
• Document and clearly communicate findings, including severity of damage or defects.
• Coordinate directly with manufacturer representatives as required to review findings and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work collaboratively with operations and detailing teams to report and track issues identified during inspection.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
