Tom Wood Group is seeking a full-time Porter at our Indianapolis location to keep the lot organized and vehicles customer-ready. You’ll move, stage, and prepare cars for display and deliveries while supporting sales and service teams behind the scenes.

The role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys outdoor conditions, and thrives in a team-based environment. Prior dealership experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Dependable, punctual and team oriented attitude.
• Previous dealership or automotive experience is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and flow of vehicles on the sales lot or service departments.
• Park, move, and stage vehicles for display, test drives, and deliveries.
• Assist with vehicle check-in, tagging, and inventory organization.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and customer ready.
• Support sales and service teams with vehicle movement and logistics.
• Monitor lot appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with snow removal, lot cleanliness, and seasonal needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and dealership procedures.
