Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Technical Program Manager for sustainment activities on the Vehicle Programs team. You will own hardware health, monitor KPIs, and drive cross-functional collaboration to support fleet readiness and service parts coordination.

The role emphasizes strong communication with engineers and executives, roadmap development, and bulletproof project planning to scale Aurora’s autonomous vehicle deployment.

• Proven track record of building project plans and roadmaps with dependencies.
• Direct impact through design, development, and launch of programs and products.
• Solid technical aptitude and ability to understand technical designs, challenges and risks; work closely with engineers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Fleet hardware health: own hardware health, reliability, and readiness across active fleet post-deployment.
• Define, establish, and monitor KPIs for field quality, failure rates, and fleet uptime.
• Provide clear technical signals on hardware and firmware issues requiring engineering investigation.
• Coordinate service parts provisioning, inventory, and replenishment with Supply Chain.
• Fortify RMA workflows, FA procedures, and feedback loops with Quality/Manufacturing.
• Support aftersales activities from a vehicle hardware perspective, including service tooling.
• Identify and report risks to fleet sustainment; manage cross-functional priorities.
• Provide status reporting for leadership and remove roadblocks.
