Job summary

Mobility Works in Monee, IL is seeking an assembler to join the team responsible for assembling light duty truck and van equipment. You will locate, unbox and assemble parts such as shelving, ladder racks, and partitions, supporting install technicians and following SOPs.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, the ability to lift and stand for long periods, and comfort with a variety of hand and power tools. A high school diploma is required, and forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus.
• Experience with operating a forklift preferred.
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal background check and submit to a motor vehicle background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate, unbox and assemble various aftermarket, steel and aluminum truck and van equipment; this includes shelving, ladder racks, partitions and other equipment.
• Assist the install technicians as needed.
• Read and follow basic mechanical instructions and do so in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
