Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in California is seeking an experienced Engineer for vehicle ECU development and integration, leading cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and procurement. This role will drive the design, development, release, and validation of ECUs, while managing schedules, risks, and budgets to ensure on-time program delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of program experience, BS in Engineering, and strong expertise in electronics design, validation, and supplier

Qualifications

BS+ in Engineering or similar technical degree required.
6+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent.
Detailed knowledge of electronics design, development, validation, and integration.
Experience with Contract Manufacturers and vendors for PCBA and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Create engineering and delivery schedules with the Electrical Hardware team and track progress against vehicle deliverable schedules.
Drive custom module developments with in-house PCBA designs and mechanical assemblies.
Identify programmatic risks and mitigate to hit timing, raising issues as needed.
Collaborate with vehicle line, software, electrical and other teams to coordinate deliveries.
Lead ECU development and integration through design reviews and pre-production builds.
Coordinate with suppliers and supply chain for timely components and prototypes.
Plan budget for the project and maintain risk registers.
